Part of the National Innovation Day event on April 21, 2022, is the technology pitching. Central Mindanao University (CMU) thru CMU-Intellectual Property & Technology Business Management (CMU-IPTBM), as one of the participating SUCs, showcased its generated technologies to the investors, guests, and participants for potential technology adoption and commercialization.

The technologies that were showcased during the event were: Purple Sweet Potato Flour by Dr. Queenie Ann Curayag, Fern Gummy Candy and other Fern products by Dr. Jose Valmorida and Team, Organic Fertilizer by Dr. Victor Amoroso and Team, 3D vector apparatus for Physics Laboratory Activity of Dr. Cecilia Bucayong, and other technologies with certificates of registration. The Purple Sweet Potato Flour technology of Dr. Curayag caught the attention of one of the participants and was invited to another pitching event.
