DOST & DTI Bukidnon, Valencia City Chamber of Commerce & Industry Association, Inc., Bukidnon State University, and Central Mindanao University launched and signed the MOU of the Bukidnon PRIME last August 2, 2022, at UNO Business Hotel, Valencia City, Bukidnon.

Bukidnon PRIME or “Program for Research and Innovation towards MSME Excellence” is an innovation ecosystem of Bukidnon. It is a convergence of stakeholders or set of actors including SUCs, government agencies, and private sectors that aims to elicit changes to the local economy, by improving the productivity and overall competitiveness of MSMEs through the propagation of scientific and research-based technologies and innovations.

The event was attended by the Chief Executives and Head of Agencies and SUCs, including Bukidnon Governor Rogelio Neil P. Roque, Valencia City Mayor Azucena P. Huervas, RD Ermedio J. Abang – DTI X Regional Director, Alfonso P. Alamban – DOST X Regional Director, and University Presidents, Dr. Oscar B. Cabañelez (BukSU), and Dr. Jesus Antonio G. Derije (CMU).
