Late in the afternoon, the IPTBM Team had the chance to conduct a benchmarking activity at DORSU IPTBM Office. The team-building activities were conducted to develop a stronger bond of camaraderie among staff and head personnel of the IPTBM office and other associated projects. Ms. Helen Panganiban of NOMCAARRD facilitated the activities. The team-building activities consisted of games requiring team members' cooperation while competing with the opponents. The games included 1.) Build the Highest Mountain Rock, 2.) Build Highest Mountain Sand and other games, which were equally competitive and collaborative for the groups. Dr. Emmanuel Leaño, the Director of NOMCAARRD, awarded the winners of the games.

Strategic and Sustainability Planning

During the term of Dr. Suminguit as IPLO Chief, his team developed a 5-year plan to guide the office's activities. This Plan was presented at the beginning of the Strategic Planning to serve as the starting point of the Strategic/Sustainability Plan. IPLO/IPTBM successfully implemented the four-year portion of the 5-Year Plan (2018-2023), in many instances exceeding the targets. The present Strategic Sustainability Plan (2021-2025) builds on the previous Plan using the CMU Strategic Plan template. This plan serves as catch up plan to CMU 2021-2025 Strategic Plan as this is developed in Midyear of 2022. To sustain CMU IPTBM initiatives, the Plan highlighted the vital role of the LGU, DTI, DOST, and chamber of commerce in neighboring cities. CMU-IPTBM will partner with the LGU of Maramag in implementing some of its activities because MLGU needs CMU-IPTBM registered outputs for its annual report. With expected increased national allotment due to the Mandanas Ruling, it is logical for the MLGU to support some of the CMU-IPTBM activities.
